I believe I have been quite straightforward in sharing my disdain for running. For those who didn’t quite get it, I’ll spell it out: I HATE IT.
Running causes my undiagnosed asthma to flare, my awkward gait causes moderate hip and knee pain, and worst of all, running bores me to sweaty tears.
However, when my friend asked me to start training with her for a 5K in March, I reluctantly agreed.
We actually started our journey on January 3. As extremely non-professional runners, we chose to follow the Couch to 5K running plan, and I downloaded an iPhone app to keep us on track during our workouts.
This blog will be a journal of sorts of our journey. Don’t expect too much.
